Help with curveball and slider?

Whenever, or most of the time, when I throw a curveball there is a red dot on it like a slider. It moves like a curve, but the red dot concerns me. Is this fine or should I take a look at what I am doing? Also, my slider has the red dot, like it should, and moves fine. So should I just look at what I am doing with my curve or not?
