Need filtration advice for 100 gallon turtle pond?

I have an indoor kidney shaped pond with 1 red-eared slider turtle. Right now I'm using a large submerged filter and I am cleaning the filters constantly. I'm interested in an external filter but have no idea which is the best. Help!
