Cheerleading basket toss help?

I'm a varsity cheerleader, and were practicing for competition. I've done basket tosses quite a bit and they uses to be really good. Recently I've been laying back alot when I do it and I bring my legs around in a circle when I go to do my toe touch. Any tips on how to stop doing that or just make the toss better in general? Thanks!
